We are linking up on Saturday 13th October for “Sing in the Library”, as part of the nationwide Libraries Week, which runs from October 8th to 13th. The Choir will sing from 11am - 11.30am. All welcome!
This year, with a focus on wellbeing, libraries across the country will showcase how they bring communities together, combat loneliness, provide a space for reading and creativity and support people with their mental health.
Singing together is well documented as a great way to increase wellbeing, whether by participating or simply listening and watching.
Painswick Community Choir is a vibrant and fun world music choir, led by Sophie Sterckx and they sing unaccompanied songs from around the world in 3 and 4 part harmonies.
Libraries Week is the annual showcase of the best that UK libraries of all kinds have to offer, encouraging everyone to discover their library on the second week of October.
